Spend Management expands to Enterprise Flexible Commitment plans

Vercel has extended Spend Management, previously available on Pro plans, to Enterprise teams on Flexible Commitment plans at no additional charge. This feature enables administrators to set budget thresholds directly within Spend Management settings, providing granular control over metered usage. The update aligns budget management across plan tiers, ensuring consistency for teams scaling from Pro to Enterprise. No new pricing or tier restrictions are introduced with this expansion.

Administrators can now define a budget per billing cycle, triggering automated actions when usage approaches or exceeds the set amount. Options include receiving email notifications, sending webhook alerts, or pausing production deployments across all projects. These controls are designed to prevent unexpected overages while maintaining operational flexibility. The feature integrates with existing metered usage tracking, ensuring real-time monitoring.

Pausing deployments is an opt-in action and does not automatically halt usage, allowing teams to adjust spending without disrupting workflows. The budget applies specifically to metered usage that draws down from a prepaid balance, ensuring predictable cost management. AI Gateway and v0 usage remain unaffected by deployment pauses, preserving access to critical services. Teams retain full visibility into usage patterns and spending trends.
