Volkswagen has begun pre-sales for the ID. Polo equipped with a 37-kWh battery, priced from €24,995 for the Trend model. The Life and Style variants are available from €29,195. This smaller battery variant follows the earlier launch of the 52-kWh version and targets cost-conscious buyers seeking reduced upfront and operating expenses. The model is part of Volkswagen’s Electric Urban Car Family, which has already received over 70,000 orders, including 25,000 for the ID. Polo.
The 37-kWh battery variant is designed for urban and commuter use, offering a practical range for daily needs. It supports DC fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 23 minutes at stations up to 90 kW. The Trend model includes standard features such as LED headlights, a 10-inch Digital Cockpit, 13-inch infotainment system, and automatic air conditioning. Assist systems like Side Assist and Lane Assist are also included.
The Life specification adds adaptive cruise control, a rear-view camera, park distance control, and Fron T-Cross Traffic Assist. Additional comfort features include an automatic anti-dazzle mirror, electrically folding mirrors, voice control, and inductive smartphone charging. The luggage compartment includes a variable floor for added convenience. The Style variant introduces premium elements such as IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, 3D LED tail lights, and illuminated Volkswagen badges.
Optional equipment for the ID. Polo includes a Harman Kardon sound system with 425 watts and 10 speakers, a panoramic glass roof, and 12-way electrically adjustable front seats with pneumatic massage. The Style model also features an improved ID. Light system with visual driving assistance and a door-integrated warning function for approaching road users.
