AWS CodeDeploy now available in five additional AWS regions

AWS CodeDeploy, a fully managed deployment service, is now accessible in five additional regions: Asia Pacific (New Zealand), Asia Pacific (Thailand), Asia Pacific (Taipei), Asia Pacific (Malaysia), and Mexico (Central). The expansion allows customers in these regions to deploy applications with reduced latency and compliance with local data residency rules. The service automates deployments to Amazon EC2 instances, on-premises servers, AWS Lambda functions, and Amazon ECS services, streamlining release processes for development and operations teams.

The availability in new regions supports teams managing diverse deployment pipelines, from EC2 fleets to serverless Lambda functions or containerized ECS workloads. By automating manual processes, AWS CodeDeploy reduces the risk of errors and minimizes application downtime during updates. This scalability makes it suitable for organizations of varying sizes, from small teams to large enterprises with complex infrastructure requirements.
