FULL-SPECTRUM IMMERSION YOU CAN FEEL – RAZER UNLEASHES THE KRAKEN V4 X SENSA HD HAPTICS
Razer introduces the Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition, a wired gaming headset integrating high-definition haptic feedback to enhance immersion by translating gameplay and audio into physical sensations.
Razer has launched the Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition, a wired gaming headset designed to transform gameplay into physical feedback. The headset uses Razer Sensa HD Haptics technology, which converts supported in-game events and audio into layered tactile responses. This includes differentiating between distant explosions and close-range gunfire, as well as subtle cues like footsteps. The technology aims to deepen player immersion by adding a new sensory dimension to gaming sessions.
The headset features two haptic modes: Dynamic Haptics for games specifically built with Sensa HD Haptics, and Audio-to-Haptics (A2H) for additional feedback in supported titles. Dynamic Haptics prioritizes developer-authored effects tied to key events such as weapons, abilities, and movement. A2H profiles, tuned by Razer, layer additional tactile responses around these events, ensuring consistent feedback even during unexpected gameplay moments.
Audio performance is delivered through Razer TriForce 40 mm drivers, which use a proprietary three-part design to separately tune high, mid, and low frequencies. The headset also supports Advanced 7.1 Surround Sound for realistic positional audio, while the Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic enhances voice clarity by reducing background noise during communication.
Comfort and customization are addressed with FlowKnit Memory Foam Cushions for extended wear and Razer Chroma RGB lighting for personalization. The headset is designed for gamers seeking a more physical connection to their games, combining immersive haptics, audio, and comfort in a single device.
