Meta unveiled AI-powered glasses, including Muse integration, advanced VR glasses, and new Ray-Ban models, alongside hearing enhancement and expanded global availability.
Meta introduced Muse, a proactive personal AI agent, now coming to its AI glasses in the coming months, providing users with constant access to their assistant. Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated new features for Muse, including connectors and an advanced model, as well as Muse Charm, a pocket-sized device for voice interaction with the AI agent. The company emphasized Muse’s growing capabilities and future updates planned for later this year.
Meta also debuted its most advanced VR glasses, weighing about 100 grams, offering immersive experiences while maintaining awareness of surroundings without heavy hardware. The glasses are IMAX Enhanced certified and will support select films in IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio, along with partnerships for media and live sports content from major providers like Prime Video, ESPN, and Disney+.
The company announced Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses, combining earbud functionality and AI in a lightweight design, allowing hands-free music, calls, and AI assistant access. Additionally, Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) glasses were introduced with a slimmer design, longer battery life, and a customizable action button for Meta AI, expanding the company’s AI glasses lineup.
Meta revealed new AI glasses options, including a hearing enhancement feature for mild to moderate hearing loss, priced at $149.99 or available via subscription. Updates to Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses added hands-free navigation, holograms for video calls, and Dolby Atmos capture, with expanded availability in the UK, Canada, France, Italy, and Germany.
