NASA Announces MAX POWER: America's Newest Aerospace Expo, Airshow
NASA will host MAX POWER, a public aerospace expo and airshow on November 7–8 at Kennedy Space Center, showcasing next-generation aviation and space technologies as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announced MAX POWER, a two-day public event at and near Kennedy Space Center in Florida on November 7 and 8, marking America’s 250th anniversary. The expo will feature next-generation aircraft, spacecraft, autonomous vehicles, and technologies shaping the future of air and space transportation. The event is designed to be family-friendly and will bring together the public, innovators, investors, pilots, astronauts, engineers, and companies involved in advancing aerospace innovation. Activities will occur at NASA Kennedy’s Shuttle Landing Facility, Apollo Saturn V facility, and the Launch and Landing Facility, as well as at the adjacent Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
MAX POWER aims to inspire the next generation of explorers and builders by highlighting the intersection of NASA’s legacy and emerging technologies. Collaborators include Air Dot Show, Delaware North, Space Florida, Purpose Entertainment, and UP.Summit. The event will showcase advanced aircraft, autonomous systems, commercial space initiatives, NASA’s Artemis program for lunar return, plans for a Moon Base, and technologies strengthening the U.S. aerospace industrial base. Teams will demonstrate work in aviation, exploration, and innovation intended to benefit humanity.
UP.Summit founder Cyrus Sigari emphasized the event’s role in convening industry leaders and the public to showcase technologies that will define the next 250 years. Bryan Lilley, CEO of Air Dot Show, noted the historic significance of hosting the aviation spectacle at Kennedy Space Center, calling it an iconic venue to celebrate past achievements and preview future advancements. Therrin Protze, chief operating officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, described the event as an opportunity for the public to experience the full story of American aerospace innovation in one place.
Space Florida’s president and CEO, Col. Rob Long (Ret.), highlighted Florida’s role in historic space exploration milestones and expressed pride in hosting the event.
