The Kyiv Business Centre (KBC) has been inaugurated as the UK’s first permanent facility in Ukraine dedicated to fostering industrial collaboration. Developed through collaboration between the National Armaments Director (NAD) Group, industrial partners, and the finance sector, the centre reflects the UK’s commitment under the 100-Year Partnership with Ukraine. It provides UK companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a physical presence to build relationships, share battlefield insights, and explore joint ventures and investments. The centre aims to address longstanding barriers such as high costs, security concerns, and administrative hurdles that previously deterred smaller firms from operating in Ukraine.

The KBC operates on three core principles: industry, innovation, and investment, offering a networking platform for UK and Ukrainian businesses. National Armaments Director Rupert Pearce attended the inaugural meeting, highlighting the centre’s role in connecting industries and scaling production capabilities. The facility is designed to facilitate meaningful collaboration between UK and Ukrainian partners, both immediately and in the long term. It builds on existing industrial partnerships and the success of prior UK Ministry of Defence trade missions to Ukraine.

The new centre provides a permanent gateway for UK firms to engage with Ukrainian partners, enabling co-development, co-production, and investment opportunities. It also supports Ukrainian companies seeking UK industrial partners or aiming to establish subsidiaries in the UK. The KBC’s operating model is structured to remove barriers that have historically limited smaller businesses from establishing a presence in Ukraine. By offering a secure and accessible base, the centre seeks to unlock new avenues for growth and recovery in Ukraine’s industrial sector.

UK companies interested in exploring opportunities in Ukraine can contact the KBC via email at enquiries@kyivbusinesscentre.com or visit its official website for further details. The centre represents a strategic step in deepening the UK’s industrial and economic ties with Ukraine, reinforcing the 100-Year Partnership through practical collaboration and innovation.
