Trustees appointed to the National Museums Liverpool Board
The UK government has appointed and reappointed trustees to the National Museums Liverpool Board, including cultural leaders, academics, and regeneration experts, following a regulated public appointments process.
Oliver Enwonwu, a cultural leader and artist, and Katie Wray, a regeneration and heritage specialist at Deloitte, have been appointed as new trustees to the National Museums Liverpool Board. Their appointments follow a public appointments process regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments. Both bring extensive experience in museums, heritage, and civic leadership, with roles spanning the UK and internationally.
Dinah Birch and John Belchem, both Emeritus Professors at the University of Liverpool, have been reappointed to the Board. Dinah specialises in Victorian literature and has held senior academic and cultural roles, while John’s expertise includes Liverpool’s social and cultural history. Their reappointment recognises their long-standing contributions to the institution.
Lynn Collins, Director of Representation and Organising at the Royal College of Midwives, and Anna Farthing, a creative producer and cultural consultant, have also been reappointed. Lynn has extensive experience in trade unionism and social justice, while Anna’s work focuses on cultural programming and regeneration, including major projects for UK City of Culture initiatives.
The trustees serve in a non-remunerated capacity, and their appointments comply with the Governance Code on Public Appointments. None declared significant political activity in the last five years, as required by the public appointments process.
