Box Mount now runs in Vercel Sandbox
Vercel Sandbox now supports Box Mount, enabling agents to read and write Box files via standard filesystem operations within sandboxed environments.
Box Mount integrates with Vercel Sandbox, allowing agents to interact with Box files as if they were local files using standard filesystem operations. This eliminates the need for custom API integrations by syncing a Box folder directly with a sandbox directory. Changes made by the agent are automatically reflected in Box once the sandbox is unmounted and deleted.
The contract-review example demonstrates this functionality by using AI Gateway to review a synthetic contract within Vercel Sandbox. The review is then saved back to Box without requiring additional authentication steps. This workflow highlights how Box Mount streamlines file handling for agents operating in sandboxed environments.
Security is maintained by running the sync process and agent as separate sandbox users, ensuring Box credentials remain isolated from the agent's workspace. This separation reduces the risk of credential exposure while enabling seamless file operations between Box and the sandbox.
Box Mount is currently available in private preview, requiring users to request access directly from Box. Once access is granted, users can follow the provided documentation to configure Box Mount within Vercel Sandbox for their specific workflows.
