Apple’s App Store Indie Games Week begins today, offering players seven acclaimed indie games available for download or pre-order on iPhone and iPad. The event highlights these titles through daily features and curated collections, showcasing the creativity and diversity of independent developers. According to Carson Oliver, Apple’s head of App Store Worldwide, the initiative celebrates indie games for their unique gameplay and creative risks, providing a global platform for bold ideas to reach audiences worldwide.
Sifu, a stylish third-person brawler, leads the lineup with a relentless revenge story set in a ferocious combat system. The game adapts fully for iPhone and iPad with custom touch controls, a reworked camera, and full controller support. Players navigate simultaneous enemy attacks, parry strikes, chain combos, and weaponize their surroundings in a challenging, unforgiving experience.
Vampire Crawlers, a spin-off of Vampire Survivors, offers quick strategic bursts with dark humor in a gothic card battler. The game replaces bullet-dodging with tactical deck-building, where players conquer dungeon runs by discovering card combos, uncovering relics, and mastering luck-based mechanics. Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky, a groundbreaking space odyssey, makes its mobile debut on October 28 with every major content expansion, including the Cosmos update.
Additional titles featured this week include Little Kitty, Big City, a feline adventure through an open-world metropolis; 9 Kings, a strategic card game for building royal armies; Dome Keeper, an alien mining simulator; and Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall, a narrative-driven game with moral choices. All titles are available now on the App Store, with Mac users able to explore a curated indie games guide.
