Exciting updates for Sneaky Sasquatch come to Apple Arcade
Apple Arcade introduces a Subway Surfers+ crossover and a birdwatching update for Sneaky Sasquatch, alongside new Messages stickers.
Sneaky Sasquatch players on Apple Arcade will experience an exclusive Subway Surfers+ crossover from today through October 7. The update reimagines a Subway Surfers+ level with Sasquatch Valley aesthetics, offering four character skins, two hoverboards, and raccoon coins replacing gold coins. The security guard’s appearance changes to a ranger disguise, blending the two game worlds. This marks the first major crossover for Sneaky Sasquatch since its launch on Apple Arcade.
A new birdwatching update arrives on September 17, introducing over 30 bird species to Sneaky Sasquatch’s open world. Players can photograph birds and submit images to a birder to log sightings and earn rewards. Photo quality, bird rarity, and new sightings influence scoring, with bonuses for capturing multiple birds in one shot. The feature adds a new layer of exploration and engagement to the game’s existing activities.
To celebrate Sneaky Sasquatch’s birthday, 11 new Messages stickers are now available, expanding the existing sticker pack. The designs feature festive themes and campground humor, complementing the original pack’s silly expressions. These stickers integrate with Apple’s Messages app, allowing users to share them in conversations. The update enhances the game’s social and celebratory elements.
Apple Arcade’s senior director of Apple Arcade, Alex Rofman, highlighted Sneaky Sasquatch’s popularity and community engagement. The updates reflect Apple’s commitment to expanding the game’s content and player experiences. Additional updates are planned for the coming months, though specifics were not disclosed. The announcements underscore Apple Arcade’s focus on exclusive and evolving content for its subscribers.
