Apple Creator Studio adds powerful new AI features and even more creative tools
Apple’s Creator Studio updates add MotionVFX effects to Final Cut Pro, video assets in the Content Hub, AI tools in Logic Pro, and intelligent assistants in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, all arriving this November as free updates.
Final Cut Pro for Mac now integrates MotionVFX directly, providing editors with thousands of professional visual effects, templates, and tools such as rotoscoping and color grading without leaving the app. The Content Hub within Final Cut Pro offers Apple-curated stock videos, photos, and backgrounds to streamline editing workflows and spark new ideas. Editors can also open images directly in Pixelmator Pro for advanced edits and save changes back to the project automatically, eliminating the need for reimporting. Additional improvements include more keyframe easing options, the ability to disconnect clips from the primary storyline, and 23 new transcription languages for captioning and searching footage.
Pixelmator Pro introduces Generate Fill, a tool that lets users edit images by describing changes in natural language, such as replacing or modifying selected areas while matching lighting and texture. The feature supports existing selection tools for precision and automatically upscales generated content using Super Resolution to maintain sharpness. Edits can be merged into existing layers or added as new layers with intelligent masking for further refinement. Compressor now supports encoding Cinematic mode video from iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo, expanding export capabilities for high-quality footage.
Logic Pro for Mac and iPad receives a redesigned interface with Liquid Glass styling and a new intelligent assistant to help navigate workflows, start new songs, or refine projects. The updated Browser centralizes loops, instruments, and effects, using on-device music understanding to automatically analyze and tag sounds for easier searching. The Stem Splitter now isolates and replaces drum parts without original multitracks, and a new Producer Pack from Sergio George adds authentic Latin jazz and salsa loops, including percussion and brass sections.
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers introduce intelligent assistants powered by Apple and OpenAI models to assist with designing slides, drafting content, and organizing data. The Content Hub expands to include Apple-curated stock video, while new premium templates and themes enhance presentations and documents. Keynote adds support for the Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx), an open JSON-based file format for external tool compatibility, and Freeform gains text styles and background customization options.
