New updates coming to Apple Creator Studio
Apple unveiled updates to Creator Studio, enhancing Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and productivity apps with new templates, tools, and collaboration features for creative workflows.
Apple introduced enhancements to its Creator Studio suite, including new edge-refinement tools in Pixelmator Pro for iPad that enable advanced selections with precise control over complex edges such as hair or fur. The update also adds two template collections for sports and action projects, as well as designs for launching creative ventures or products. These templates are available on both Mac and iPad, expanding creative possibilities for users.
Final Cut Pro and Motion now support applying Cinematic mode effects to video captured natively on iPhone 18 Pro, allowing editors to adjust focus points and depth of field directly within the timeline. Compressor introduces new export presets for social sharing and the ability to convert videos with Cinematic mode effects back into the previous format. These tools streamline video editing workflows for professionals working with high-quality footage.
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers receive new professionally designed templates and themes, along with intelligent slide generation in Keynote that automatically creates tailored images for presentations. Collaboration features have been improved, enabling users to request access to shared documents and receive in-the-moment assistance. Pages for Mac introduces Screen View to optimize content for reading and focused writing.
Freeform gains Dark Mode adaptation for boards, folder organization for collaborative projects, and Writing Tools powered by Apple Intelligence for rewriting, proofreading, and summarizing handwritten notes. In visionOS 27, Freeform allows users to pull multiple items into their space and view 3D models collaboratively. Shortcuts integration enables automation for adding content, further enhancing productivity and creativity.
