Nissan has revealed the all-new 2027 Rogue Hybrid, marking the first hybrid variant of the brand’s popular Rogue SUV in the U.S. market. The vehicle integrates the company’s proprietary e‑POWER hybrid system, which uses an electric motor to drive the wheels while the gasoline engine remains disconnected from the drivetrain. This setup aims to deliver a smoother, quieter, and more responsive driving experience compared to traditional hybrid SUVs. The Rogue Hybrid is positioned to strengthen Nissan’s competitive edge in the U.S., one of its three lead markets driving growth and profitability.
The Rogue Hybrid builds on the success of the Rogue, which has sold nearly 4 million units across three generations globally. Nissan’s senior vice president of product and planning emphasized that the new model responds directly to customer feedback, combining Rogue’s functionality with enhanced efficiency and driving dynamics. The e‑POWER system, refined over three generations and sold in 68 markets since 2016, has been specifically tuned for North American driving conditions and preferences.
Assembly of the 2027 Rogue Hybrid will take place at Nissan Motor Kyushu in Japan, with initial availability starting in fall 2026 for the Rogue Hybrid SR AWD with SR Technology Package. Additional trims, including SV, SR, and Platinum, will arrive at dealerships in early 2027. The model introduces advanced infotainment features, including a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an optional 14.3-inch screen with Google built-in, Google Maps, and Google Gemini.
