Salesforce will invest $1 billion in Spain over five years, opening a Madrid headquarters to expand AI deployment, talent training, and enterprise partnerships across EMEA South.

Salesforce inaugurated a new five-floor Madrid headquarters on Paseo de la Castellana, marking the company’s expanded presence in Spain. The office includes dedicated spaces for customer collaboration and hands-on training in agentic AI technologies. The facility will host a dedicated AI Implementation Team focused on developing regional AI skills and supporting enterprise customers and partners across EMEA South.

The AI Implementation Team will combine Forward Deployed Engineers working directly with Spanish customers to design agentic use cases and a regional center for recruiting and training top graduates. Graduates from EMEA South countries will complete a year of intensive training in Spain before deploying back to their home markets, expanding local AI implementation capacity.

The investment aligns with regional efforts to modernize public administration through AI, as highlighted by Miguel López-Valverde Argüeso, Minister of Digitalization of the Community of Madrid. The government aims to enhance efficiency, digitalize citizen services, and strengthen competitiveness by adopting agentic AI to automate tasks and improve service delivery.

Since 2003, Salesforce has created over 600 direct jobs in Spain and supports thousands more through its partner ecosystem. Organizations such as Repsol, CaixaBank, Telefónica, and Universidad Europea rely on Salesforce to drive innovation, with Agentforce enabling autonomous agents to collaborate with human teams for business transformation.
