Salesforce Launches Missionforce Military Fellowship to Help Service Members Build Careers in the Agentic Era

Salesforce introduced the Missionforce Military Fellowship, a 12-week Department of War SkillBridge program aimed at assisting transitioning service members in leveraging their military skills for careers in AI and technology. Participants will join Missionforce Customer Success teams, receiving Salesforce certification training, AI and consulting skill development, and hands-on experience with technologies used in government and national security sectors. Completing the program may lead to full-time opportunities with Missionforce.

Missionforce National Security, Salesforce’s platform for defense and intelligence organizations, integrates secure cloud, data, and AI capabilities to support personnel, logistics, and mission operations. Kendall Collins, CEO of Missionforce at Salesforce, emphasized that while AI transforms national security operations, human expertise remains critical for mission readiness and leadership under pressure.

The fellowship builds on service members’ existing capabilities such as leadership, adaptability, communication, problem-solving, and execution under pressure, while providing technical training to pursue technology careers. U.S. Navy veteran Keith Campion, now a Senior Services Sales Solutions Architect, credited the program for translating his military experience into a civilian role, highlighting Salesforce’s investment in training, certification support, and mentorship.

The Missionforce Military Fellowship extends Salesforce’s decade-long commitment to the military community, offering veterans, service members, and military spouses training, certifications, and resources for technology careers. As AI reshapes government operations, the program aims to expand the talent pipeline by combining technical fluency with mission experience, preparing transitioning service members for civilian national security roles.
