Teachers can sign in using a QR code or NFC-enabled ID card, instantly accessing their files, apps, and settings without entering passwords in front of students. The system automatically loads personalized elements such as lesson materials, wallpaper, and app shortcuts, ensuring a consistent teaching environment regardless of the classroom. Jelena Živko of Volusia County School District noted that this feature lets teachers prepare lessons in advance and maintain their preferred setup when moving between rooms.

Each teacher’s workspace is secured with encryption to prevent unauthorized access to personal settings and classroom content. Samsung AMS also provides single sign-on access to the Samsung AI Assistant app, enabling teachers to retrieve previous lesson materials, including AI-generated summaries, without additional logins. This continuity supports educators who frequently switch classrooms, ensuring they retain access to essential tools and resources. The system is designed to address the challenges of shared displays in multi-user educational settings.

Samsung Education Portal centralizes account management for teachers and IT teams, allowing registration of users, enrollment of compatible displays, and assignment of NFC-enabled ID cards from a single interface. Displays can be organized by location tags such as school, building, or classroom, simplifying large-scale deployments. The portal also integrates with major notification platforms like InformaCast and Raptor to streamline Emergency Alert management, enabling IT teams to configure and assign custom alert templates to specific displays or groups.

Leah Fuller of Best Buy Education emphasized the value of the Emergency Alert feature, stating it provides reassurance to staff, students, and families by enabling visual dissemination of urgent information across displays. By combining personalized teacher workspaces with centralized management tools, Samsung AMS aims to create more secure and efficient learning environments while reducing administrative burdens on school IT teams.
