Bünyamin Aydın, founder of the Istanbul-based lifestyle brand Les Benjamins, debuted his latest collection, 'From Earth to Sky,' during a landmark fashion show in Cappadocia, Türkiye. The event featured three custom-built hot-air balloons in neon green, yellow, and pink, set against the region’s surreal landscape. Shot by French filmmaker Neels Castillon on iPhone 18 Pro Max, the show blended Turkish heritage, 1970s rock influences, and futuristic design elements.

Aydın used iPad Pro with Apple Pencil Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max during a 2026 research trip to Cappadocia, capturing 4K video at 60 fps and photographs of the terrain. He praised iPad Pro’s portability and two-day battery life, calling it 'the ultimate workstation on the go.' The collection drew inspiration from three native flowers—Echinops, pink trumpets, and wild yellow tulips—resulting in 10 looks and three balloon designs.

The creative process relied heavily on iPad Pro’s M5 chip and Freeform app, where Aydın assembled mood boards, fabric references, and early designs for team collaboration. He used Procreate for sketches, Safari for research, and Background Tasks for file exports, while Apple Pencil Pro’s hover feature enabled real-time stroke previews. The Ultra Retina XDR display and True Tone helped refine colors, including earthy tones and the balloons’ electric hues.

Neels Castillon directed the show’s filming using iPhone 18 Pro Max, leveraging its 48MP Fusion Main camera and variable aperture for low-light to daylight transitions. Custom drones with dual iPhone 18 Pro Max units captured vertiginous footage at 4K 120 fps, while Castillon reviewed footage on MacBook Pro with M4 Max. The production emphasized color accuracy and cinematic techniques, including ProRes RAW for post-production flexibility.
